Welcome to Ocean Bay Middle School. We are a growing community with a diverse population and welcome new students moving into our attendance area. We hope you will take a look at our website and get to know us better. Our 8th graders will attend Carolina Forest High School when they begin their high school career. We welcome any comments you have and ask you to email our web administrator with any questions or concerns. We look forward to meeting you. ************************************* We offer morning tutoring from 7:30 to 8:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  Students are to be dropped of at the cafeteria doors and a teacher will let them in at 7:30.  No permission slip is required. We also offer afterschool tutoring from 3:30-4:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Students can get help with homework, class-work, studying for tests and quizzes, and getting organized.  Students also have the opportunity to work on Compass Odyssey, a computer program that is directly tied to individual student MAP scores.  A permission slip is required in order for students to stay for afterschool tutoring. ************************************* Parents, due to the overcrowding of our busses, there will not be any bus changes allowed. The only exceptions that will be considered are absolute emergencies. In the case of an emergency, please contact an administrator for approval.
